When you were a kid, were you part of a group like Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts? If you’re a woman now and still interested in fun, outdoor activities with other ladies, listen up.

Sisters on the Fly is a group focused on empowering women through outdoor adventures. In fact, it’s the largest of its kind in the nation with a national chapter and smaller, regional chapters. The smaller chapters meet more often and the larger events happen just a handful of times a year.

Just what do these “Sisters” do? Get together for all manner of fun activities like fly fishing, hiking, cattle roping, kayaking, and of course, camping. In fact, many of the group members own their own modern RVs or vintage campers. They travel to locations together in caravans and make quite a sight doing so!

We thought of this group recently when we learned that Ford is releasing a new line of branded RVs. Wouldn’t it be fun to take one of these for a week-long getaway?
